O-Level Grade Calculator
Enter your raw marks to see your predicted O-Level grade. Also calculates your L1R4 and L1R5 aggregate scores for JC and Polytechnic admission.
Grade boundaries are based on commonly cited SEAB guidelines (A1: 75+, A2: 70–74, B3: 65–69, B4: 60–64, C5: 55–59, C6: 50–54, D7: 45–49, E8: 40–44, F9: below 40). Actual cut-offs vary slightly each year based on cohort performance. Use this as a guide, not a guarantee.
Select your grade for each subject. The calculator will find the best combination for your L1R4 and L1R5 scores. Lower score = better.
L1R4 = English Language + best 4 subject grades (points). L1R5 = English Language + best 5 subject grades. Points: A1=1, A2=2, B3=3, B4=4, C5=5, C6=6, D7=7, E8=8, F9=9. JC indicative cut-off: L1R5 ≤ 20. Poly indicative cut-off: L1R4 ≤ 26. Actual cut-offs vary by institution and course. Always check the latest JAE and Poly EAE requirements.
